FAQ

What is Talu Tales?

Talu Tales is a series of fun, fearless and fantastical stories for young feminists. Each story is designed to make learning fun and colourful, and to show kids that they can do and be anything!

Talu Tales stories exist as story books, story cards, stickers and activity books.

Is Talu Tales only for girls?

No. Boys have also been missing out on reading stories with female leads, diverse characters, things that shimmer and things that sparkle. These stories might not be about boys, but they’re most certainly for them.

How do you play with the story cards?

There are infinite ways to play with the Talu Tales story cards. To help you get started, 7 mini-games are outlined in the included gameplay manual. You could tell a story using one card, build on a group collaborative story, hide them (for a story hunt) or perhaps put on a play!

Are the story cards wifi enabled?

No. Just like your brain, they’re disconnected from the internet but can still do some pretty incredible things.

Who made Talu Tales?

The creators of Talu Tales (Annabel Blake and Deborah Ho) are an award-winning research-strategy/designer duo who met whilst working together in Google’s Creative Labs.
